Bus trip to visit Wild Things Plant Farm, Mapleton Organic Dairy Farm, Floral and Hardy and 2 private gardens in Fergus.
Wild Things Plant farm is a garden of North American native plants.

At the Mapleton Farm we will take a wagon ride and tour the demonstration barn, view 4 acres of Community Supported Agriculture garden, a store selling organic meat, yogurt, cheese and ice cream and more. Lunch there will be salad and variety of sandwiches, all organic. Bring a cooler if you plan on buying food.

At Floral and Hardy you will have a chance to view over 3200 registered daylilies, 450 Hosta cultivars, and 138 Heuchera cultivars.

Quarry - A decision that will affect us all
If you are not already aware - it is time to find out more about the proposed quarry in Melancthon township just north of Shelburne.
