Seed Secrets
Our March speaker Kat Granger,
Master Gardener spoke on “Seed Secrets”.
Imbolc is interested in increasing the conservation
and spread of ecologically grown, bio-diverse and regionally adapted seed.
Kat described how she collects her heirloom
organic seeds, dries them, stores them and packages them for sale. She would like everyone to grow your own seed
for sustainable food systems. Seed is a
natural resource and seed saving is a skill that should be learned by all ages.

The Shelburne library is now offering a seed library. You can add to the library and try seeds that are currently in the library.
