Floral Design Workshop

Three times a year the Shelburne and District Horticultural Society host a flower show.

The dates are May 17th, June 21st, and Aug 16th.

In order to help people compete in the flower show this year the Society has decided to have a design workshop the day before the show. The workshops will focus on creating a design for the flower show.

Alice May Laver will be hosting the design workshops. The first one is on May 16th from 1 - 4:30. It will be held at the Shelburne Library. The cost is $20.

Things to bring with you are: containers (it is suggested that you bring more than one), oasis, scissors, wire, plant material and flowers.

To condition your flowers put them in a deep container in warm water 6 hours before you need them.
